Magnetic Poetry Example

January 2, 2007

Sis used the Magnetic Poetry site, using the “Garden” kit to write a doggy-poem. She accidently left out one word “you,” because she’s tired, we guess, but it’s still pretty nice and we thought we’d share it with you! Be careful trying that site, it gets a bit addicting (this is her 5th poem she made with magnetic words!). It should read:

“to my dog”

i believe in you,
my moist nosed dog

something special emerges
to protect me

you are as sacred as fresh fertile earth,
wild as the vines’ secret song

you are my ancient sanctuary
a whispered dream
my only truth

I’m a little inspired to write a little poetry for Fei, myself!
Thanks for leaving behind a message on Fei’s blog. I agree, I’ll go through hell if there is one just to be with my dog!
    Love

we’re glad you like sis’s poem! we found out if you go to http://www.magneticpoetry.com/play.html and then click on the bottom right java play button, you can also play with the Dog-lover kit online! you can’t submit them though, because that’s the older system. on the new one (where you just click on the “choose a kit” button, you can use the “garden” kit, and that has some words for dogs!
